$350 raised by 7 donors

North Texas Pantry is dedicated to addressing food insecurity in the North Texas region. Since its inception, this organization has been pivotal in providing nutritious food and vital resources to families in need. With a focus on improving the quality of life for the underserved, North Texas Pantry has become a cornerstone in the community.

The North Texas Pantry began as "The Floral Heights Food Pantry" in 1979 when the Floral Heights United Methodist Church served as a Red Cross Disaster Center after the massive tornado on April 10th.   It then became clear that our community needed help with food on an on-going basis.   We became the Floral Heights Community Food Pantry in 2015 when we received our 501(C)3 status in August of 2015.   In 2018 we changes our name to the North Texas Pantry (NTP).

Key Statistics:

- We serve more than 26,000 individuals in the North Texas Pantry each year.

- Volunteer Support: Over 30 dedicated volunteers contribute their time and effort to support pantry operations each week.

Our Mission:

North Texas Pantry strives to eliminate hunger by offering food and support to those facing economic hardship. The organization operates through a network of partnerships with local businesses, community organizations, and volunteers, ensuring that aid reaches those who need it most.
