On any given day in Minnesota, there are approximately 7,700 children and young adults in foster care. We are fortunate to have a locally based organization that is dedicated to serving the foster care community in Carver and Scott Counties. Funds raised by the Forgotten Initiative help provide direct support to children and families experiencing foster care including scholarships for extra curricular activities, teen retreats, and fulfilling direct and immediate needs of foster families.

Foster families step in at a critical time to provide hope and healing. Foster parents come from many walks of life and familial structures, and the need for additional foster families is urgent. We believe that by providing direct and tangible support, we can help these families continue the important work of providing nurturing, stable homes. By providing opportunities for children and youth experiencing foster care, we are helping to promote a sense of belonging and normalcy during an uncertain time.

As this season of gratitude and giving commences, we hope you will join us in raising funds to continue our efforts and make a direct and lasting impact on children and families right here in the communities we live.

Thank you for your consideration and generosity!

100% of your gift will directly support our local communities.
